Role of the modern zoo
We have a bold vision to create a world where nature is protected, valued and loved. Join us as we discuss the important role that our wildlife conservation charity plays in brining people closer to nature, our active conservation work and how we engage with others to fulfil this vision. This is followed by an independent collection planning activity and subsequent discussion to support critical thinking.

Zoos and conservation
Join us to learn more about the role of a modern zoo. Animal Welfare is central to our role as a responsible zoo and vital to our mission, so the theory is followed by a practical animal welfare assessment task and subsequent discussion to promote critical thinking and discuss how we can promote natural behaviours.

Animal behaviour
Our understanding and observation strategies of animal behaviour are constantly evolving. Join us as we discuss behavioural study methods, share the importance of observing behaviour and data analysis. This is followed by an independent practical activity and supported discussion of findings.
