Edinburgh Zoo’s Giant Lanterns to make long-awaited return

Edinburgh Zoo’s award-winning Giant Lanterns event is back this winter for the first time in six years.
Following its hiatus, the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) has announced the long-awaited return of its hugely popular bespoke lantern trail. With a brand-new theme for 2025, the wildlife conservation charity is offering visitors the chance to explore a glowing world filled with hundreds of breathtaking, larger-than-life illuminations.
From 14 November 2025 to 22 February 2026, across 60 nights, the family-friendly event promises to be more dazzling than ever. Early bird tickets will be on sale soon.
